Responsibilities


  • Attends all monthly city council meetings
  • Fiscal year end
  • Maintains all public records including all laws and ordinances
  • Meter readings and prepares utility billing
  • Prepare and files monthly sales and use tax
  • Prepares a monthly report to the City Council
  • Prepares and publishes the official proceedings of the City Council and all meeting notices
  • Prepares monthly Audit reports
  • Prepares monthly claims and pays claims upon Council's approval
  • Prepares monthly payroll for all city employees
  • Records outstanding bonds against the City
  • Shall sign all licenses, permits, and occupation tax receipts authorized by law, and required by the municipal ordinances
